Setting up DX7 with Blade CP 4n1

Materials:

  • 1 – Servo Y Split Extension Cable EXRA315
  • 1 – Servo Extension Cable JRPA095
  • 1 – Spectrum AR6100
  • 1 – 4n1 WITHOUT Receiver

This is the plan below. (thanks Vector for the image)

First we need to modify one of the Female ends by cutting the access plastic off. This modification will show only the pins. This end will plug into the Modified 4n1.

I used a razor blade to cut the female plastic cover off.

We need modify the same thing with the other servo extension by cutting off the female part.

Now take the end of the male modified servo Y split extension and stick that into your throttle socket on the 4n1 and then plug the other male end of the Y splitter to the AR6100 Throttle socket as shown in the picture below.

Now then take the modified male end of the servo extension and plug that into the rudder socket on the 4n1. Then insert the other end into the AR6100 Rudder socket as shown below.

The left over servo extension will go to your ESC.
