This article basically tells you what parts you need to either upgrade the CP to the CP Pro, and what parts you will need to downgrade the CP Pro to the CP.

Upgrading the CP to the CP Pro

---EFLH1110B - main motor with a 9T pinion (required for the higher lipo voltage) $10

or

---EFLH1950 - 9T pinion for the stock motor (you'll also need a pinion puller to change this out) $2

EFLH1132 - main motor heatsink (atleast one, but two wl fit) $3

EFLH1131 - tail motor heatsink (atleast one, but two will fit) $2

---EFLH1170 - Bell Hiller mixer upgrade kit $25

or

---EFLH1171 - Bell Hiller Grip set $10

and

---EFLH1172 - Bell Hiller mixer arms and pushrods $5

EFLC3105 - 3s balancing lipo charger 800mA $23

EFLB0995 - 800mA 10C 3s lipo battery $38

Optional - needed for a full change over, but not to get the just of it

EFLH1147B - symmetrical main blades $16

EFLH1031 - 3 in 1 Control Unit (Mixer/ESC/Gyro) $45

EFLH1036 - 6 Channel Rx $25

EFLH1046 - CP Pro Tx with idle up (3d mode) throttle curve adjustment, and remote gain (requires an add-on gyro like the g90) adjustment (or whatever else you decide to use channel 5 rotary knob for) $55

EFLH1312 - grey CP Pro canopy w/decals $13 (yellow one also available EFLH1313)

Total Cost w/out Optional Equipment = $83 to $101

Downgrading the CP Pro to the CP

Basically all you are going to need is the CP Blade grips, unless you also wanted to downgrade the battery for less power (could possibly be easier to fly)

EFLH1162B - Hiller blade grips $8

Optional - needed for a full change over, but not to get the just of it

EFLH1147A - flat bottom main blades $15

EFLH1061 - 9.6v NiMH battery pack $17

EFLH1125 - 9.6v NiMH charger $8

---EFLH1110C - 10T main motor (if you down grade the battery you will also have to change the main motor pinion to a 10T) $10

or

---EFLM1951 - 10T pinion for the stock motor (you'll also need a pinion puller to change this out) $2

Total Cost w/out Optional Equipment = $8

Conclusion

Basically you can see that it is worth the extra $30 bucks to start out with the CP Pro and downgrade it to the CP, rather than start with the CP and upgrade it to the CP Pro. Starting with the CP Pro also makes it easier to go with a separate gyro and/or brushless, and gives you another channel on the receiver for remote gyro gain (requires an add-on gyro like the g90), or whatever else you want to use it for.
